Ignition Night


 This family-friendly event is set in the beautiful Dominion Gardens Park in Georgetown and Shelagh Law Park in the Hamlet of Glen Williams. Visitors can explore a dazzling wonderland that captures the joy of the holiday season, all free of charge.

Our 18th annual winter festival of lights will run December 1 to January 11 from 5p.m to 11 p.m. daily.



Join us Monday December 1st for our annual Ignition night ceremony 6:30p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with ignition at 7:00 p.m.

Ignition Night


Once again for 2025, we will be holding our annual December 1st Ignition night opening ceremony.  It all starts at 6:30 p.m. in Dominion Gardens in Georgetown.  There is lots to see for the whole family and the event is free.


Help Support Light Up the Hills


We appreciate your support for our annual winter festival.  You can support us by purchasing our raffle and our 50/50 draw tickets available on line and at the park.  You can also order or renew a Memory Ball for a loved one or cherished pet and of course donations are gratefully accepted.

Participate in the outdoor games, visit Santa and take in the lights and displays.  Enjoy free hot chocolate and timbits courtesy of Tim Horton's
