What are the Memory Balls?
During the holiday season Dominion Gardens Park is lit up with thousands of coloured lights for all to enjoy. Three special Memory trees located between the pond and the Tree of Hope are covered with sparkling white lights and special clear glass Memory Balls dedicated to the memory of your loved one(s).
Your Memory Ball will be hung on the trees from December 1 to January 3.
The names of the people being remembered will also appear on a memorial sign located among the Memory Trees This sign remains in the park throughout the year.
How to Order
Purchases and renewals are available until November 19th. We offer 4 ways to purchase or renew your 2026 Memory Balls.
You can do it by:

our booth at the Georgetown Marketplace and other locations around town on the dates below or contact any of the Memory Ball volunteers found at the bottom of this page for information on how to pay by cash or cheque.
